Announcement of Signing the United Nations Global Compact
We, Nagaoka International Corporation, hereby announce that we have signed the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, an initiative conducted by the United Nations, and registered as a participating company on January 29, 2026.

The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest sustainability initiative, uniting the United Nations and the private sector (enterprises and organizations) to build a more sustainable global society. It is an initiative where each company and organization proactively act as a responsible member of society by exercising responsible and creative leadership to achieve sustainable growth.

Our corporate vision is: “creating a better tomorrow through technological innovation and development-uncovering a future for the finite resources of water and energy.” To become an enterprise that contributes to a sustainable society, we support the 10 principles across 4 areas (human rights, labor, environment, anti-corruption) defined by the UN Global Compact and will improve our initiatives accordingly.
■The UN Global Compact’s Four Areas and Ten Principles
〈Human Rights〉
Principle 1 Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally
proclaimed human rights; and
Principle 2 make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
〈Labor〉
Principle 3 Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective
recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
Principle 4 the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
Principle 5 the effective abolition of child labour; and
Principle 6 the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
〈Environment〉
Principle 7 Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental
challenges;
Principle 8 undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and
Principle 9 encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
〈Anti-Corruption〉
