NAGAOKA's speech received remarkable attention from the participants.

"CHEMILES" is an extremely high speed chemical-less groundwater treatment system to remove high levels of iron, manganese, and ammonium nitrogen, etc. in groundwater by utilizing contact oxidation and bacteria at low running cost. Recently, the removal capacity of hexavalent chromium and arsenic were also proved by pilot studies.

The Water Council, the organizer of the summit, was founded in 2009 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin State, USA, to find solutions to critical global water issues and promote water technology business, which is the only organization of its kind in the United States. A pilot unit of "CHEMILES" is planning to be installed at Flow Lab in The Water Council's Headquarter. NAGAOKA will expand our business to solve the problem of USA's typical groundwater contaminants in cooperation with The Water Council and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee together.
